KEY SKILLS: AI PRODUCT DESIGN, HUMAN-AGENT INTERACTION, UX ENGINEERING, DESIGN SYSTEMS, CONTEXT ENGINEERING
I make intelligent systems understandable, predictable, and useful.
At Microsoft CoreAI, I design and build prototyping tools for Microsoft Foundry and Azure portals. They give design, research, product, and engineering teams a shared way to test AI product behavior as working software and make decisions without waiting on the production repo.
Over the past 15+ years, I’ve designed interfaces for conversational AI, developer tools, and automotive systems. At Nuance, I led UI and interaction design for a Dragon Drive windshield HUD that used gaze to give voice commands context, featured at CES 2019. I then spent nearly four years on Mix.dialog, designing tools for authoring complex conversational behavior.
I later led the strategy and architecture of Verse, the shared design system for Mix and the surrounding platform.
I prototype to think.
